Greetings All,
It's good to be back on this list again (after an 18month break). I
currently have a MSFC running DLSW+ which also is configured as an SNA
Service point. We have this router up and running, but would like to add a
redundant MSFC. I can configure Ethernet redundancy for this segment, but
my question is: What is going to be required to support a redundant SNA
Service point?
My understanding is that we need to request an additional line be setup
within VTAM on the host for this new router, but I'm not sure exactly how
end stations (ie: our Microsoft Sna Server) attach to the host through the
service point. Can anyone lend some valuable IBM/SNA insight as to how this
works?
