dialer string and broadcast

Hello Group,

Just a quick question. Dialer maps allow you to specify a 'broadcast'
keyword which will allow multicasting routing protocols (eg. OSPF) to work.
With using dialer strings instead of dialer maps, does it default to
broadcasting because it does not let you specify.
