Everyone,

I passed yesterday in San Jose on the first attempt and the exam was very
difficult. I went the route of getting the CCNA/CCNP last Thanksgiving.
Passed the written in January. I went to the ECP-1 in September. I read
most of the configuration guides and command references and a number of the
more common books documented on this list elsewhere. I did the bootcamp
labs and I had access to a rack 24x7 with everything but ATM. I built a
folder with the little tweaky details that I learned that eventually grew to
about 75 pages. That was what I reviewed in the last couple of days before
the exam.

One thing I picked up from the list was to ask the proctor for clarification
if I was uncertain. I pestered the proctors four times. Twice I got a
response back that clarified something and a couple of times he just told me
to go sit down. It made a big difference in whether I passed or failed. So
ask the proctor. The worst thing he can say is to go sit down.

Thanks for the list and everyone's contributions. Now I have a life to get
back to :-)
