Dear Friends,
Sorry about the late notice, but we've almost cleaned up enough of
the burned-down garage to hold a Router Roast (aka meeting) Saturday. We
were considering turning the ruins into a large barbicue pit....
Saturday, October 27, 2001
Start at 10 am, Lunch at Noon, End at 4 pm
Place: Bruce's House with tours of destroyed garage
(just south of Washington, DC - directions below)
In the morning we will host a discussion about "finding a job in
today's market". (learn the secret of what happened to the 300,000
unfilled tech jobs they complained about last year!)
(disclaimer - Bruce is looking for new work also)
Noon will be lunch. May roast a turkey or two on the grill.
(there's a reason we call these "Router Roasts"!)
In the afternoon we will set up routers and switches and play.
Everyone is invited. Bring equipment and laptops if you have them.
Sodas and snacks are also welcome.
If the timing is right you can all watch as the roof of the garage
gets pulled down!
Yours Truly - Bruce Evry
