Ravi is correct if I recall correctly, although all 3600's and even
2600's will work in a lab environment as long as you don't ask them to
do too much (since this is a lab list I thought that would be pertinent
to add). The 2600 router will work as a P router even in production
networks but not as a PE router (but will in a lab). Not that you would
want to use a 2600 router in production for mpls... ;-) You also
might be able to get it to work somewhat on other lower-end platforms.
The list of "supported" platforms is mostly those it has been tested on
and, naturally, they really don't want to say it's supported everywhere
because then people will try to use a 1600 router as a production
router for mpls and then complain when it melts down (merely an example,
I don't know if the commands are even available in a 1600).
