I turned on debug OSPF monitor, there isn't any LSA changes. The network was s
table.

from show ip ospf interface bri 0, your can see the interface is running as dem
and circuit but it's down.

seems to me it's trying to talking to the peer and bring up the interface to Po
int-to-Point state.

But somehow, it couldn't make agreement with the neighbor. Very strange, looks
 like a bug???

Could there be flapping links that is causing OSPF to send out updates
through the BRI bringing it up every 40 seconds? Might be worthwhile to do a
"debug ip route" to see what's going on.

Hi Groutp;

I setup a ospf demond circuit , but the link will come up and stay up. I
turned on debug and found that BRI send a ospf multicasting traffic in every
40 seconds. This traffic keeped the link up.

When I checked the dialer interface, there is a Pollinterval 40 second. I
searched cisco web site. couldn't find any info. Can some one shed me some
light.
