Jim is right about neighbor statement.
If OSPF LSAs are in the database but if not in the routing table, pls take a
look at http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/104/26.html
#1 Advertising router is not reachable
#2 Network type mis-match (even if hello and dead intervals are the same,
broadcast on one end and point-to-point on other end.)

Doesn't the use of the neighbor statement turn advertisement from multicast
to unicast thereby eliminated the need for the broadcast keyword?

Do you have broadcast keyword in Frame-Relay map statements ?

Subject: OSPF question
Can an OSPF guru explain something that is giving me a headache ?
On one of the bootcamp labs - 19 I think - I came across a configuration
where router 1 had a frame-relay connection to routers 2 and 3. the three
routers were area 0 for OSPF. Normally I would have configured them as point
to multipoint and know they would have worked. This scenario specifically
stated that you couldn't use that command.
I tried all approaches and ended up with the neighbor command for both spoke
routers in the hub, with both spoke routers having a priority of 0 and the
hub router having a priority of 200. All looked OK, adjacencies were OK and
the LS database looked correct on both spoke routers but the routing table
never got populated.
I looked at the solution and they seemed to have done the same.
Is there another way of doing this that is correct and can someone explain
why what I did failed to populate the routing tables ?
TIA
Russell
