Should have made myself clear.

I'm not asking anyone to break NDAs to help me pass my lab, nor would I do
so to help anyone else. I am 100% "loyal" to the certification and hope
that it continues to be the best evaluation of a persons skills in our part
of the industry.

However, my first $1250 (plus expenses) was spent determining how much more
I needed to learn as well as how to approach the lab in terms of timing of
tasks, how many questions there will be and of what type, etc. Given that
only a small percentage of people pass first go I'm sure I'm not alone.

I don't believe that the information published on CCO is adequate guidance
to prepare for such a tough test. If Cisco offered more background to get
people past all the myth and mystery, the questions could get tougher
because the candidates would be better prepared. An individual's
preparation could be more focused and less people would have to rely on
bending the NDA to get them through.

The result would be an even more valid assessment of an individual's
knowledge of real networking issues, and not of how well he/she fought
through all the noise on this and other forums (to which I realise I am
contributing!).

Hope this clears it up.

Nick
