I do not see redistribute connected on this statement, you might want to try
that

hm... I did create the default route to point from R3 to R4, and distributed
using the ospf command defualt-information originate. here's the config for
R3.

router ospf 300
 network 10.10.135.3 0.0.0.0 area 0
 network 10.30.30.1 0.0.0.0 area 33
 network 10.30.31.1 0.0.0.0 area 33
 default-information originate metric 500 metric-type 1
 area 33 range 10.30.0.0 255.255.0.0
!
no ip classless
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 173.168.40.2

router 1 sees this default route, but R2 eigrp only router does not see it.
let em know what you think.

Hi John,
did you create the default route-between r3-r4.If you did, did you
redistrube connected subnets so everyone could see that route and also
default info orgin allways so it was advertised as a default route.

 hope this helps

Hi all,

bootcamp lab 2 (section 2, task 3) number 18.

can some one please explain to me why R2 can't ping the serial interface
between R3 and R4? And what's the solution of fixing this problem. R2 can
ping the frame-relay interface of R3. I'm sure someone had done this lab
numerous times and knows what I'm talking about.

Thanks all.

Johnny
