Hi, I will be attempting the ccie lab a second time soon and the only reason
why I'm doing this is in fact the money. The only reason why I went into
networking and specifically trying to get the ccie is because it is the
fastest way I know of to get a high-paying job. Any sufficiently motivated
person (regardless of age, sex or education) can pass the lab within a 1 to
2 year period and land an $80K job, at the minimum. I know of no other job
out there that pays that kind of money and requires so little time
investment (training). That is the most critical point because higher-paying
jobs obviously do exist (doctors, lawyers, etc.), but the problem is that
they require an inordinate amount of time to complete the training. So, if
you could please tell me about "better options" I will be most grateful.
Thanks in advance.
