RE: 1-day lab format

What I meant was that there were fewer people keeping their appointments at
the beginning of the month because of the Sept. 11th tragedy and the
resulting difficulty in flying. I know that I had to cancel and re-schedule
because Cisco had put a ban on non-mission-critical flying for a while.

I don't think the numbers have dropped. There are twice as many days
available. If the numbers had dropped it would work out to every other day
being empty and open seats on the alternate days. I don't think the calendar
reflects this.

If there are six lab seats and the calendar shows two openings on two days,
that is a actually a net increase of two candidates from the two-day to
one-day format.

Previously those six seats would have been scheduled/occupied for two days
for six candidates, now you are pushing 8 candidates, 4 on each day, through
the same racks with the additional openings.

The number of people taking the test dropped because of the events as of
late, therefore the number of people who passed dropped accordingly. If you
want an opinion, I think the new test is a bit harder but still passable.

Is part of the NDA the non-divulgence of passing. (this is a joke)

I'm starting to sweat. I haven't noticed the numbers popping up like they
did in the past.

What is going on?

I made an assumption a long time ago that Cisco would make the one-day
exceptionally hard initially and scale back the difficulty as results were
gathered to match the approximate passing rate of the two-day.

Does anyone know, or is no one on the list taking the one-day?
