Try and disconnect your serial cable while the router is booting. It
looks like it is trying to do an auto-install and finding a frame-relay
connection and setting the frame relay parameters in the running config
for you.

Has anyone in the group come across the following problem. I erase all
configs, get prompted for set-up go in to the 'blank' router and my
encapsulation frame-relay and frame-relay lmi-tpe statements are still
present !

This happens every time. I am running 12.1 code on 2600s.
