This book is written very much around the old ATM LAN CCNP Specialisation -
it goes into much more detail than you need for CCIE ATM. However, my
belief is that if you understand as much as you can in depth, you can adapt
and troubleshoot MUCH faster - and remember one day not two, so time aint on
your side.
The book is very good for looking at ATM concepts, and especially
understanding all the resolution protocols that exist (this is important for
CCIE)
