OT: Conversion between 3810 E1 & T1

I have an MC3810-EUS, it was suggested that you could change either a
DVM or an MFT between E1 and T1 mode of operation.

Indeed there is an article on TAC about doing just this. (Boot into rom
monitor mode and there are two commands 'voice' & 'trunk' that are
supposed to allow one to do precisely that.)

However, when I try to do this on my MFT it informs me that it is not
supported on an EUS. Does anyone know which modules / revisions do
support this facility?
