This isn't a great book for preparing for the CCIE (written or lab). That
said, however, I own this book and reference it frequently as my job is
almost exclusively ATM and DSL. If you want the high-level view the CCIE
requires, get a different book. If you need to know ATM much more in depth
Pildush is great.
Ironically though, the book doesn't talk much about the Stratacom series of
ATM switches (our main ATM products). I don't know of a book that does.
