I really like that the 3005 can integrate with the existing NT domain. It
makes administration much easier.
It doesn't make sense to not buy a 3005 for about $2500 when the 3DES
license for the PIX is going to cost $700. So, it's really only an extra
$1800 to get a much better box and let the PIX do what it's designed to do.
Plus, if you have VPN clients the 3005 will support all the common Windows
clients even if they are behind a NAT device.
