Bottom line is, Cisco customers who buy equipment from Cisco are frustrated bec
ause they have to wait over a year to get candidates into the lab. It was eith
er more racks or shorter tests. All this sentiment related to Cisco simply wan
ting more people to pass doesn't hold water with me. The certification holds v
alue because its hard to get. Cisco hasn't missed this point. They with littl
e to gain by devaluing their own program.
The other point is, so what? It's their program, let them do with it what the
y see fit. Wall Street thus far seems ok with it.
