I respectfully disagree. I have set up ATM PVCs with Fore ATM Switches. I can't
speak for the LS.

I also wonder how the auto discovery would work if the switch, which it most
likely will, changes the VPI/VCIs within the PVC if the this is a router (I
assume you mean end end station and/or edge device) function.

Also, there does not need to be a switch to run ILMI [keepalives].

PLEASE correct me if I am wrong.
