Kelly,
You don't have to pay for new bootroms if you call the right place. TAC will
ask you to pay for them, but if you call Customer Service (ask TAC for the
number) you can get new boot roms for only the charge of shipping. I did
this about 2 months ago and got 2 sets of new boot roms. It took me ahwile
to get in touch with the right people, but to me it was worth it to get the
bootroms directly from Cisco and also know that they were brand new.
