This might be a silly question, but here it goes.
Does anyone know of a way to set a static mac address at the token ring side of
the bridge so that the dlsw on the ethernet side can build the dlsw cicuit & v
erify reachability without actually having a device there?
Or vice versa? I used icanreach statements for the mac address's of the token r
ing & ethernet ports of the routers & they see them under reachability, but the
y go unconfirmed & the circuit never gets built. ( I only did this because I ha
ve no actual devices on the opposite sides of the ethernet, or token ring ports
to test with.)
There might not be a way to do this, but I thought I would ask anyways.
Thanks in advance,
Dan
