seems that my posting was not sent out. I am resending now. sorry if you get
2 copies.

Got the number at RTP on my 2nd try this Tuesday.8/21. thanks God, I
finally get relieved and am going back to normal life.
My group had 5 guys and 3 of us are on 2nd try. 2 of us made to the second
day and only me to troubleshooting .

my lab strategy is just like most of the guys with the #. However, several
non-technical points saved my life and hope will be helpful to you guys:

1. NEVER NEVER NEVER take notebook with you. at my first try, I review my
notes before the test. That only made me nervous.
2. Review the basic core skills ( BGP OSPF ISDN FRAME IPX ) over and over
during the last week. Make sure you can get any frame or isdn senario done
within 10 minutes without any hesitation. that saved me a lot time for the
tought questions. I only lost about 10 point before the troubleshooting.
3. On day 2 morning, I get all the simple questions done before eating the
difficult ones.
4. Keep calm in the troubleshooting. Troubleshooting part was tough and I do
not have any idea when get the workbook. I read the problem reports for
about 15 minutes and that did not make any sense to me. I turned to my own
way to crack it: first make peer-to-peer ip connection working, then make
sure you get all routing protocol neighbors, after IP routing is working, I
can not even believe it: everything else became piece of cake. Catch the
magic!!!
5. get hands on the 3920 before walking in the LAB. Absolutely you need this
experience.

good luck everybody,

Changchun Xie.
