It has been my experience that Sniffer will work with just about any card,
but to see low level ethernet errors you have to have a supported card,
other cards just discard errored frames. They will all see the working
frames, so if you are trouble shooting IP or TCP problems or even most
ehternet problems you can use any card.

Running Win2K, I saw on there website they have support for Xircom and Madge
cards but I was hoping there was some way to get support for others

you need to install the network compnent in network settings (what OS are
you using)

I am running Sniffer Pro 4.5 on my OmniBook 6000 with the builtin ethernet
nic. Sniffer won't pick up the NIC when it starts up .... any suggestions?
