I am using wic 1ts in my fram relay set up and no problems so far. My ****
used 2502 routers are behaving really badly. My tr interface ails, my
serial interfaces fails and one router even stop booting. It is so
frustrating.

3 weeks to go for my time.

Mark,

Here are the printouts. This one really has me stumped and I've done a
lot of Frame Relay. My gut feeling is that it is something with the
WIC-1T cards. The config is pretty straightforward; nothing fancy at
all, just your basic hub and spoke stuff. And I've used two different
versions of general deployment IOS as well, tried different clock
speeds, etc...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. 5 months to go until the lab.
Dave and I are taking it together....

Thanks,

Justin

Can you send the sho frame PVC and sho fram map on the end point
routers?

If anyone has a chance can they help out with this frame cloud config?
For some reason the 2600's are acting very strange.
Thanks, Dave

Subject: RE: VSwitch 3920 2.0

Dave,

Here's the issue on the WAN problems:

I cannot get my 2611 routers to communicate thru a 2522 functioning as a
Frame Relay switch. I have 2500's hooked up that work just fine.

When you bring up the connection, the interface and line protocols go to
up and the DLCI's go active. After about 10-15 seconds, the DLCI's go
inactive, the line protocol goes down and the DLCI's go to deleted. I
have tried different clock speeds, different IOS (currently on 12.0-18)
and using know good crossover cables to the 2522. I'm wondering if it
is an issue with the WIC-1T cards in the 2600 routers as the 2500's are
working fine, with the exception of one of them.

I attaching current configs to check out. R1's Serial0/0 is attached to
R8's Serial1. R2's Serial0/0 is attached to R8's Serial2. Standard
crossover cables that work fine on the 2500's are being used.

If anyone has a clue on this, it would be greatly appreciated as it's
really putting a damper in finishing the functional setup of my CCIE
lab.

Thanks...Justin
