I have the follwoing config on a dialer interface
dialer-list 1 prot ipx list 900
access-list 900
deny rip
deny sap
permit any
My question is why does the ISDN interface not come up when I ping the
remote end?
I do have a dialer map config under my bri interface.
I can ping fine (using IPX) if I first bring up the interface using IP, but
it will not dial if I use a resctrictinve IPX (to prevent interface
bouncing)
What kind of packets is IPX ping, should it notbe allowed under the permit
any statement?
In addition, when the interface is up, SAPS are placed in the server table
