It helps prevent a process from using up all the processor cycles on the
router.

Its a hidden command, at least from the Command References (I can't find it
in there). I did find a reference in the Open Forum

Search on 'process-max-time' and you'll see it.

Also, this is a very helpful database for when you can't find the answer
using the normal or TAC search engines. Lots of help for real-world
situations in here.
