Let me elaborate more.
R1--R2--R3--R4
R1 connectedto R2 and running IGRP. (subnet mask /23)
R2 connected to R3 is running OSPF with Area 0. (subnet masks /23, /24, /26)
R3 connected to R4 is runing OSPF but Area 1. (subnet masks /23, /24, /25)
I know R3 is ABR we can use "range" to summarize to /23 and then distribute to
R2.
My question is how R2 can summarize /24 and /26 to /23 such R1 can receive rout
e from R2. I can use "summarary-address" on OSPF in R2 to generate routes to "N
ULL" with subnet mask /23 in routing table on IOS 12.0 but it doesn't work on 1
2.1.
Pls advise.
