Hello All,
I'm doing a comprehensive review of all the ways one could filter in DLSW.
So far I can come up with 3 ways...
1. icanreach/icannotreach mac-address and netbios (this includes the
exclusive command)
2. netbios input/output access filter on the interface and source
bridge/transparent bridge lsap/mac filtering.
3. DLSW Remote tcp filters.
For dlsw remote tcp filters I came up with
A. dmac-output-list
B. host-netbios-out
C. lsap-output-list
D. bytes-netbios-out
E. dest-mac
My question is:
A. Is dmac-output-list the same as icanreach mac-address and icanreach
mac-address exclusice (depending on restrictions).
B. What is "dest-mac"
I know that these commands are only helpful if you have a dlsw remote
statement only (meaning if your dlsw router is configured for promiscous
then you would have to rely on the icanreach/icannotreach or interface
filtering commands).
Can someone verify if my info is correct and answer the questions above?
Thanks in advance!!!
