Hi Libone,
I have a feeling there is a way to do this with a command but I know th
at
if a router is an ASBR and an ABR it wont do the translation. If you
configure a looback on your ASBR and put it into a different area I think
that will do it. They way to check is to do an 'sh ip ospf data nssa' and
you should see an entry on each route like ' no Type5/7 translation' . I
need to check this out so I may be wrong.
HTH,
Lachlan

Subject: NSSA and type 7 to 5 LSA's
How do you configure the ABSR not to send type 7 LSA's with the p-bit
set to one ? In other words how can you prevent the ABR of a NSSA from
translating type 7 to type 5 LSA's ?
