Hey guys,
I was wondering what are all the possible ways we can backup a frame-relay
connection via isdn?
We have dialer watch, backup interface, snapshot routing, floating statics
and demand circuit; but I'm looking for something specific for frame-relay.
For example, If all we take the frame-relay route statement, which of the
above solutions would react the fastest.
-Backup interface works beautifully, of course.
-OSPF demand-circuit or dialer watch can be used for p2m or p2p links,
because it will see the missing route. However, with NBMA or broadcast the
route to the subnet is still in the routing table.
Are there any other options?
