What version of IOS is this on. I've tried it on Version 12.0(9)& 12.0(3)T usin
g every deb ipx ei command out there, and I do
not see any ipx eigrp statements in the debug.

if you deb eigrp and you make up an AS # you will get a debug message that
you are using the wrong AS and it will let you know what the correct AS you
need to match to is. Try it, it really works.
