I had trouble getting the DLSW stuff down first as well... I finally read
the information on this page off CCO and it really helped a lot. There are
a lot of sections to this, but the first three are really a good start.
There is also a queuing section that is good. There are some sample configs
in there that helped me out. The second section talks a little about the
canonical / non-canonical situations.
