IGRP/OSPF WITH ISDN :
1. Filetered out the isdn subnet from igrp into ospf ..so NO flap
2. Summarised the isdn subnet from /30 to 24 with summary address
3. no peer neighbor route to eliminate the /32 ppp host routes
4. ip ospf demand ckt running on one end only
5. All internal ospf routers have been area ranged so that any link
instabilities will be hidden behind the summary
But i still see the demand ckt coming up every 10 minutes or so.....sh
dialer shows that one bri was trying to reach the remote bri ip. Can you
guys think of ways to clean ythis up a bit more ? In real life ISDN call
every 10 mins would be expensive. Is there a way to tweak the time interval
between demand ckt updates so that the neigbors on bri don't go into dead
state ?
Another question:
I am unable to locate an email which talked about some gotcha with BGP
routes originating in NSSA....Still digging the archives ...Any clues ?
Appreciate any thoughts here.Thanks.
Cheers,Padhu
