I am required to deny some SAP advertisement, for example, FILESRV1, but
permit the others SAPs in a LAN segment. Intuitively, I compose an
access-list to deny FILESRV1 and permit any, then implement output filter in
ethernet interface, which will deny the router advertises SAP packets every
60 seconds. But what about the client? If a client boots up, it will send
GNS requests. The router get requests of clients, does it send the sap
service FILESRV1 to the client? Do I need GNS output filter in ethernet
interface?
