Sparse-mode will work as well. That's what it was originally designed for.
The sparse-dense mode is just a new feature that allows you to have both
dense and sparse mode per group, depending on whether there is an rp for the
group.

So, NMBA will work as well with 'ip pim nmba-mode'.

Is auto-RP only work in sparse-dense mode ?

If yes, what will happen if NBMA is involved, NBMA only work with sparse
mode.that means we can't configure auto-rp in NBMA network.
