about ospf hold time delay

In my pratice lab
a question:
   R1 is too busy.so we need config R1 OSPF spf process interval great than 30
seconds.

My configuration:
  router ospf 1
   timer spf 5 30

But i know this configuration is wrong.
Any other answer?
what relationship between ospf delay timer and
hold timer?
