It wasn't a point breakdown as such. It was in one of the old CCIE
quarterly's that used to be on the website, that I can't seem to find
anymore. There was one with an interview with the Cisco CCIE/Certs manager.
They were discussing the CCIE and it digressed onto the R/S lab and the
weighings, things like that and what IBM portions would still be on R/S
(like CIP etc.). I seem to remember him saying that certain things wouldn't
be on there but DLSW would still figure strongly etc... If only the link
was still there.
There was no point breakdown to speak of and this doc must be near 18 months
old now.

Interesting. I haven't seen this document. Do you have a recent example
that gives point range breakdowns by protocol such as the one you mentioned
above?
