Guys,

Just came across something that hasn't happened to me
before. i have an ospf network that has two paths to a
couple of networks. On the link that is the best route
to a network i changed the network statements to be
just the interface, 0.0.0.0, not the whole network.
everything looked fine and i got my neighbour
relations up.

when i looked closer i saw that the network i was
playing with was going via the less desirable path.
cost had no bearing on the route no matter what i
changed it to. i looked closer and saw that one end
was p-t-p and the other end was broadcast? before i
changed the network statement this serial was p-t-p on
both ends. has anyone seen this before, or am i losing
the plot?

Garry
