    Switch only processes layer 2 frame, so the ip address has nothing to do
with this. You can ignore it.

  I could not say the question clearly.
  the ip address is not used to telnet or snmp to the switch.
  only this ip address & this mac on this port,can exchange
data with other hosts in other ports.
