Please respond to me directly on this and I'll post one email to the group
containing all of the responses. Hopefully this will help keep OT messages
to a minimum.
The question is: What tool do you use for comparing config files? Is there a
DOS or Windows utility for comparing two text files (configs) and showing
the lines that are different? I'm pretty sure that there is an easy way to
do this, but I haven't had much experience scripting or with uncommon DOS
commands. I am NOT looking to solve this with UNIX commands, although it
might be easier. Most of the time I work from a Windows machine, so I want
to try to do it on Windows/DOS.
