No, --there is no TFTP server in the lab, --however I agree you should wipe
out and reload configs, --just not the way you think.

Someone said here that you should practice the tasks you know how to do and
be able to do them in 15 minutes. I agree entirely, that this is how you
buy time for the "head scratchers."

With practice you should be able to get a two TRCRF, one TRBRF, name the
switch, IP address installed and pinging in about six or seven minutes.
You're not wasting your time to build speed at tasks like these, it's four
points you can earn in 10 minutes.

Subject: 3900 switch config upload / download

Group,

I am having problems with uploading the configs to the tftp server. The tftp
server is on both default vlans. I can ping the switch from the tftp server
and vice versa. But I cannot seem to upload the current config. Any ideas?

Also, some time ago someone mentioned that one of the things that you should
be able to do for the lab exam is to wipe out and reload the configs. Just
wanted to confirm, other than via a tftp server there is no other way,
right? I guess that would mean that we have a tftp server at the lab (?), or
is this violating the nda?

Thanks for all your input in advance.
