Folks,

While shopping for some serial crossover cables, I
came upon this company that sells a rather interesting
line of products. They sell DB60-toRJ45 adapters in
either DCE or DTE, along with the more mundane
DB-25-to-RJ45 mod-taps.

In lab scenarios it seems really efficient to be able
to use these DB60/RJ45 mod-taps and Cat5 patch cords
instead of more bulky DB60/V.35 or even the
DB60-to-DB60 crossover cables so common now on Ebay.

The only problem is that a pair of these adapters cost
around $65 list on this company. This compares to $30
for the crossover cable. Obviously if there's a
second source and enough demand, the adapters should
be much cheaper in the long run. Anyone has seen
similar products before?

Thanks,
David
