YOu need it becausse R5 will use HDLC IPX encapsulation, but R7 will use
NOVELETHER, and you can't make them the same. BVI uses NOVELETHER. Try
setting up ethernet link between R1 and R5 (instead of serial), then you
won't need the BVI interface.
