My old employer had bought a few CSS11800s (When they were still
Arrowpoint). I remember the engineer saying that Arrowpoint used a
different pinout for the console port. I still have his number. I will
call him and ask him if there is a way to use it with a term-serv. I also
recall him saying that in future revisions, they had plans to switch to the
standard Cisco pinout. I will post what I find out.

Subject: CISCO 11000

Guys,

Any idea how I can connect a Cisco 11000 content switch to a 2511 terminal
server.

The 11000 has a D type connector and comes with a D to D cable, I have tried
the D to RJ45 that comes with a normal router but no matter what cable (Roll
over, cross over straight) it does not work.

TIA
