I've used notepad to copy and paste with no problem, but I was told that any
saved configs WILL be deleted.

Subject: Notepad during the Lab

Hi guys,

Maybe a stupid question, but can you use notepad during the exam to
cut&paste bits and pieces from your configs?
I know you're not supposed to use them during the troubleshooting, but I
like to use notepad a lot during configuration. So it is not a matter of
saving configs, but just to know if I need to adjust my working behavior.

Regards,

Roel
