I am planning to start a new smaller GroupStudy CCIE study group to rapidly
prepare participants for the CCIE. The group will consist of about 10
people who should be planning to take the CCIE sometime before October. Why
October? Because I find people focus the best as the date approaches - and
this group will take substantial time and commitment.

First, the group will participate in a month of instructor led directed
self-study. We will study White-Papers, RFCs, the documentation set, and
three to four books. Discussions will take place on the GroupStudy school
message boards or through a mailing list .

This self-study will place all participants at about the same level. We
will then meet for one of the two instructor led courses. The courses will
meet from 9:00 AM to about Midnight each night and will be based upon Global
Knowledge's Advanced CCIE Prep workshop. Because we will be better prepared
and have longer class hours, the three workshop series will be compressed
into two.

After the first class, there will be a two week break for more self-study.
A virtual lab will be available on a limited basis for additional hands on
practice and review.

Then a second class will be held to finish the workshop. Finally more self
study and access to the Virtual Lab for additional practice. So the entire
commitment will be around two months.

We will need to negotiate the price with Global Knowledge, but with our
group purchasing power the entire package should be around $10k. The
location is to be determined but I am expecting either Atlanta, GA or
Washington, DC. This will be decided by the group.

Please send me e-mail of you are interested, or have any suggestions or
questions.

Take care,

Paul Borghese
