Subject: ISIS

Before I get flamed here I want to say I do not want to know if anyone saw
IS-IS on the CCIE lab exam. I have no background in IS-IS and I am curious
if this should be a topic of study or not. The Cisco website has said that
CLNS has been removed from the lab exam. Caslows book covers IS-IS in about
three pages but Doyle spends around a hundred pages on the topic. I dont
fully understand the technology/terminology so I guess my question would be
is IS-IS for IP still a valid topic for study or did removal of CLNS negate
the whole topic? Thank you.
