Tariq,
Nothing special is needed that I am aware of. As long as you have R2 and R5
configured with the VL as Area 10 with the respective router ID's you should
be set. Can you provide configs? Is there authentication? What does the
"sh ip os vir" show?
Regards,
Chris

Subject: Virtual Links over Frame
R2 is a frame hub router. Frame is area 10 & R2 is attached to a LAN
which
is in area 0. R5 a frame spoke router with frame interfaces (area 10) &
a
token interface in area 50. So I need a V link. Configured as normal it
does
not work. R2 --- R5 is frame with physical interfaces & ip ospf network
p-2-mpoint.
Why would it not work? Is there anything special like sub interfaces
required?
Many thanks & regards.
