San Jose clears out nicely, not a ghost town, but no traffic either.
Hotels charge 1/4 to 1/3 the rate for weekdays. $50 at the Best Western
vs $150. The Cisco Cafe` is closed, so none of those huge rice crispy
treats are available and lunch is ordered in. They got my order wrong,
but it was good anyway. The only hitch was 9:10am, no way into the
building and no sign of the proctor. Its a little scary for the 5 guys
standing there, thinking that they are REALLY screwed. Five minutes
later we were in the lab...
