All forms of Layer 2 addressing:
VPI/VCI - ATM PVC Addressing
DLCI - Frame Relay PVC Addressing
Dialer String - typically E.164 address, used for Frame Relay SVCs, Public
ATM networks (Private ATM networks use ICD NSAP format) and of course POTS
and ISDN.

Subject: VPI/VCI, DLCI, Dialer String
What are the significant differences among these?
VPI/VCI pair
DLCI
Dialer String
Anyone have a short writeup? I dont have any practical experience
with ATM...only ISDN and Frame Relay. I was looking for an introduction
to ATM that focuses on its similarities and differences from FR and ISDN.
