Hi Doug,

I do not really agree with you. Not anything in IOS will be in the exam. For
example Appletalk, DECNET, SDLC, QLLC.. are not.

I however believe it is a good thing to learn everything. However due to
time constraint and we can only learn so much in a time frame, it make sense
to pick the right thing to learn. If RSRB is the lab, I will learn it. If
DECnet is the lab I will learn it. If they are not, maybe I can learn the
technologies later in my life.

The E stands for Expert. Anything in the IOS is fair game. You can play the
odds or you can learn it during the exam if it gets asked.
